Pretend It's Cold Outside and Consider the White+Warren Sale

We realize that it's disgustingly and distressingly hot and muggy outside (and it's getting worse tomorrow), but that still isn't a valid excuse to ignore a good deal. So please don't hate us for mentioning the White+Warren one-day sale that's going right now. Yes, we're talking warm and cozy knits and wraps that you want to avoid now, but later on you'll appreciate $50 cashmere sweaters and $20 samples.

Always a trouper, Sample Sally braved the oppressive heat last night to drop in for a preview of the markdowns.

Signature cashmere sweaters for $50 (that retailed from $195 to $265)—includes plenty of cable open cardigans (many still wrapped up in plastic), v-necks, crewnecks and a few of the stripe sweaters. Cotton and linen knits are $30, including the reversible beach sweater and the assymetrical drape top. Jackets are $40, pants are $30 and shorts $20.

The sale runs until 7pm tonight and hey, if anything, there's air-conditioning inside the showroom.
