Italian leather brand Piero Guidi—often known as the Coach of Italy—will be opening its first United States outpost. Interestingly enough, this location, which is also the fourth Piero Guidi freestanding store outside Italy, will be located just down the block from its American counterpart—or the younger Coach Poppy, actually—on West Broadway between Prince and Spring. But if we think about it, the colorful, cartoon "Magic Circus"-themed figures gracing the signature Guidi bags should be right at home neighboring the brash and blinged-out Poppy. The boutique will also carry the "Lineabold" collection of canvas bags that feature metal plaques that shoppers can personalize with an engraving. Piero Guidi Soho is projected to open its doors this September.
