CHELSEA—Fashion Week will soon be upon us, so what better way to prep than with a preview screening of The Tents, a documentary chronicling the history of New York Fashion Week. Along with scenes of famous supermodels strutting down the runway, the doc also features interviews with Betsey Johnson, Donna Karan, Isaac Mizrahi, Tommy Hilfiger, Zac Posen, Glenda Bailey, and Nina Garcia. The Tents will go into wide release in September, but New Yorkers will get a sneak preview at 6pm on Saturday, July 23 during NewFest, the New York LGBT festival. Tickets for the screening at the School of Visual Arts Theater are $14 and are available for purchase online. Also, check out our sister site for the glam trailer. [Racked National]
