Stuart Robert Smith, owner of the surf shop Bikini Bar at 148 Duane Street, fell to his death from the building's roof early Sunday morning. Smith was a deep-sea diver for the Navy; he opened the tropical-themed Tribeca boutique with his designer wife in 1997. According to the Post, the NYPD is investigating his fall as an accident.
