A tipster reports that the Times Square Forever 21 has closed its lower levels. A security guard told her he didn't know why they were restricted or when they would reopen, and we couldn't get anyone at the Times Square location to pick up the phone, but a sales associate at Herald Square told us that the closing is due to "floor decay." Apparently the ceiling fell down earlier this week, and now the company is making frantic repairs on the space. Yesterday the entire store was closed, but the first floor re-opened today, presumably to take advantage of all the tourists chased indoors by the heat.
