According to WWD, organized retail crime is on the rise, and the top five cities most often targeted are Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Chicago and Houston. As for the items most likely to be stolen? Some are more obvious than others. For example, pharmaceuticals and electronics make the list, along with Levi's denim and North Face jackets. But then there's also these: Victoria's Secret "Pink" lingerie and Olay and Cover Girl cosmetics, leading us to believe that some of these criminal masterminds are in fact teenage girls.
