Coming soon to the Lower East Side: Mens and womenswear line Carlos Campos will be opening up a shop on 75 Orchard Street this fall. Neighboring International Playground over on Stanton Street is already listed as a stockist, but Bowery Boogie reports that the move to Orchard Street will the brand's first stand-alone shop.
If you're not familiar with the line, the Campos website describes it as "well-tailored pieces constructed from exceptional fabrics," and also throws it out there that dudes like Justin Timberlake and Ethan Hawke wear the men's stuff. Pretty GQ for the LES, we think, but that could be a good thing. Will bicycle-riding guys in slim suits and leather jackets—as depicted on the windows—be downtown's newest invasion? Can't say we'd be too bothered.
