It only took eight months, but the West Village Comptoirs des Cotonniers will open the doors of its Bleecker Street outpost tomorrow. From the looks of things, the signage is up, the windows are dressed and the crowds are (as always) ready to shop. The third outpost of the Parisian-inspired, but Japanese-owned brand took a bit longer to reach completion, as compared to the Upper West Side shop. The Columbus Avenue locale was up and running with lightening speed (well, retail-world speaking anyway) by last Thanksgiving. Come tomorrow, the new Comptoirs des Cotonniers will be open for business, joining neighbors 7 for All Mankind, Marc Jacobs, Intermix, Village Apothecary and the unfolding Ralph Lauren/RRL chronicles.
