In May, we heard a little something involving Anthropologie, a lease on the Upper East Side, and a launch date during the holiday season—which means Christmas, so don't get excited thinking it may be for the Fourth of July. A few more details have come our way: Mainly, that the roughly 14,500-square-foot space at Third Avenue and 71st Street will be two levels, with the bulk of the merchandise at street level and then another section downstairs. This makes five Manhattan stores for the brand, meaning now you couldn't run away from the chain's signature flowy everything if you tried. [The Shophound]
