GREENPOINT—Species by the Thousands will be having a trunk show at the Mini Mini Market in Brooklyn this Friday with window displays in both the Mini Mini Market and the Shoe Market. The sale will feature Species by the Thousands' new housewares line with handmade dreamcatchers and God's Eyes as well as the brand's jewelry. Dreamcatchers will be $60, God's Eyes $40, and there will be refreshments. The trunk show will run 4pm—8pm this Friday, July 1. [Racked Inbox]
SOHO—There are plenty of occasions for great hair. Unfortunately this summer humidity tends to disagree. Thankfully, Privé Salon has come through with $35 blowouts at their location at the Soho Grand Hotel through the end of July. Normally priced at $55, that's quite a steal this summer. Call Privé at (212-334-1212) for more information. [Racked Inbox]
SOHO—Last week we told you about Amarcord's VIP Archive Sale scheduled for today. For those of you who were too chicken to try to sneak in the VIP doors, good news—the vintage boutique has told us that they are extending the sale to tomorrow and it will be open to the public. Wednesday lunch break anyone? [Racked Inbox]—Lauren Budorick
