NOLITA—In celebration of Flag Day (June 14, for those who didn't realize), downtown boutique Creatures of Comfort raised a festive new creamsicle-hued pennant. [Racked Inbox]
PARIS—After a day filled with Law & Order-worthy witness testimony, alleged amnesia and shirtless courtroom fashion, the John Galliano trial has adjourned for, well, the entire season. Judges will reconvene after a summer break (oh, the French) on September 8, which is coincidentally during New York Fashion Week. [Racked National]
LONG ISLAND CITY—Spokesman Cycles is upgrading its fleet of rental bikes, so they're holding a massive sale on their current fleet of "lightly-used" classic 2009 and vintage 2010 models. Their heartstrings tugging email really says it best, "These bicycles have spent their brief, cushy lives as part of our rental fleet. Our expert mechanics built them and cared for them. They've ferried tourists around our fair city and helped novice cyclists discover the joys of riding. Now we're looking for a few good homes for them". Aww. Prices run from $265 for Jamis Explorer and Commuter 1s to $350 for a Canondale Quick 6. The sale starts at 10am on Friday, June 24 and continues until supplies last. [Racked Inbox]
