Maybe all those people not a Theyskens' Theory were smashed together shopping the crowded Melissa sale in Chelsea. Sample Sally stopped in last night to shop deals starting at $20 for basic Melissa jelly styles. People were so excited to shop the deals that the room quickly becoming a disarray of boxes, a jumble of tissue paper and plethora of candy-hued jelly shoes.
The real highlights appeared to be the loads of Vivienne Westwood Anglomania collab jelly heels (how adorable are those cherry stem green slingbacks?), which are priced $50 a pair. Sally spotted "Lady Dragon slingbacks (in spring colors such as lilac, pink, green and more); Temptation pump (black); Ultragirl with bow (black, light grey, light pink, gold); Ballerina II (pink and black); the Wedge (black & beige); flip flops with a heart (black, gold, pink); and the Three Strap heels." Also, the three strap collab flats are a steal at $20 a pair.
Speaking of collabs, there are "tons" of Jean Paul Gaultier x Melissa styles all discounted to $75 (from $260). Sally found that many sizes were depleted yesterday, but staffers should be restocking as the sale runs through Saturday.
