Kate's Paperie: Closed in Soho, Popped-Up on Astor Place

In what we thought might be a sign that the paperless-pocalypse was nigh, Soho stationery mainstay —and dependably-cheerful sight on a walk down Broadway—Kate's Paperie closed its doors last month. Lucky for those of us still clinging to art of paper correspondence, Kate's quickly opened up a pop-up shop in Astor Place shortly thereafter. (Check out Kate's Facebook page for adorable photo documentation of the pop-up shop set up.) The temporary store will remain on Astor until sometime next month, but do not despair. Kate's Paperie will then open up a new location in a space yet to be announced. While we wait, Kate's website is open 24-hours a day, and remember: Nothing says thank you like a handwritten note.
