THE INTERNET—Lower East Side gallery owner Jen Bekman decided to shake up the art world back in 2007 by making art accessible and affordable via her interwebs venture 20x200. From tomorrow until Monday, June 20, the site is throwing a sale, offering 20% off of orders of $50 or more. Along with ordering art straight from your laptop, you won't have to deal with any snooty art gallerinas, either. UPDATE: The online checkout code is: RIDONK. Sale starting shortly. [Racked Wire]
WILLIAMSBURG—Speaking of art, Bird Williamsburg will be hosting artists and designers Fredericks and Mae, who will introduce a collection of arty, summer toy-inspired, hand-made objects, including, kites ($235 and up), masks ($40), bocce sets ($250) and arrows ($95). If that doesn't entice you, perhaps Prosecco, custom totes bags, summer tunes and 10% off all full-priced merchandise will. The fun takes place on Wednesday, June 29 from 6pm to 8pm. [Racked Wire]
