Now that American Eagle has that big electronic billboard over Times Square, the brand is all about showcasing its customers alongside the TV stars and pop divas whose giant faces usually dominate Broadway. Back in March, they used the screens to display winners of a Polyvore contest, and now they've teamed up with fashion app Pose to celebrate another group of amateur stylists.
Pose is sort of like Foursquare meets Svpply: Users take photos of clothing they like and tag the items, sending their followers streams of cute items both from stores and from their own closets. For the Times Square contest, users have to tag images from American Eagle's line Aerie. Five lucky winners will wind up with $150 to spend at Aerie plus their "pose" (the image they've tagged) up in lights.
