It's a quiet rainy day for Soho sales, and like the Thakoon showroom, MiH was a zen garden of discounted apparel. The MiH sale offers up to 60% off of a diminutive selection of denim and basics and prices start at $30 for tees.
Head toward the back of the showroom for the Brit-based label when you enter; the sale occupies a few racks and a back table. Pricing is pretty simple, running $30 for tees, $50 for shirts, shorts, scarves and the flare jeans on the table, $80 for skinny jeans, and $90 for flares and wide legs.
In the skinny styles, we saw the Paris (originally $179) and the Vienna (originally $196). For wide and flares, there are the Berlin high-waisted (originally $245, but $49 on the OutNet), the London (originally $185), the Oslo and the Marrakesh ($189). There are also baggy London Boy cuffed cut-off shorts and dark wash pleated and cuffed shorts. For additional basics, there is a range of chambray and denim button-downs (we liked the leather drawstring one) and washed denim spring scarves. Denim sizes range from size 24 to 32 and everything is out on the floor.
The MiH girls are ceding their back office to shoppers to use as a fitting area and mirrors are sprinkled around. Cash and credit are both accepted. It's around the corner from Thakoon, so, hey, might as well make it a sale two-fer for one round trip MetroCard fare.
