The curse of the Limelight Marketplace strikes again! The owners of Williamsburg kitchen supply shop Whisk just announced that they'll be closing their Limelight location this Friday, May 6. Whisk has been a Limelight tenant for about a year now—in fact, they were there when the church-turned-nightclub-turned-mall opened last May. "We are grateful to our customers and staff there," write the owners in an email, "and look forward to new opportunities in Manhattan." The Limelight seems to have a real problem with leaking retailers: Hunter Boots and Le Sportsac also took off recently.
