WiNK Soho to Move One Block Over

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It seems Spring Street's WiNK flagship just wasn't cutting it for the growing chainlet — the store is opening a new flagship just around the corner at 129 Prince Street in Soho. The new store, set to open tomorrow, boasts more than twice the square footage of the Spring Street location to bring shoppers more merchandise, more dressing rooms, and more sales staff. (Fret not: they maintain that "more room doesn't mean less personal.") We walked by the new store to see if we could catch a glimpse of some must-have merch from brands like Rebecca Minkoff or Patterson J Kincaid, but so far it's all empty clothing racks and construction remnants. Maybe someone's pulling an all-nighter? — Lauren Budorick
