Those who crave more of the true Century 21 in-person, non-virtual experience will be delighted to see that temporary signage for the anticipated Upper West Side outpost has appeared. The cheerful, bright red window wrapping touts the discounter as "The Perfect Fit for the Fashionable Upper West Side" (be nice, everyone) and confirming a Fall 2011 opening. The bold crimson declarative banner definitely beats the ratty brown paper coverings of yore, so fingers crossed that it passes muster with the Upper West Side signage activists.
