Funny story: Before Equinox decided to buy SoulCycle (the hip, loved-by-celebrities chain of spinning studios), it considered buying their archrival, FlyWheel. But alas, it didn't, and now the deal with SoulCycle is official. According to the Post, SoulCycle can now utilize those "deep pockets" of Equinox, as the mega gym brand works on adding another nine locations to the spinning studio's current six. One of these new spots is reported to be a 2,000-square-foot redux of its current UWS studio, where moms will soon be able to push even more pedals in addition to pushing those strollers.
