SOHO—Following in the footsteps of The City's Whitney Port and Ugly Betty's Mark Indelicato, Beverly Hills 90210 actress Shenae Grimes is spending her summer hiatus break interning for the esteemed Teen Vogue. From the sounds of it, she's not getting any special celebrity kid gloves treatment, though. "I'm home from my first day as an intern at Teen Vogue and boy, am I wiped! With a million shoots to prepare for, the office was a zoo of clothes today and I don't think I sat down once!" the actress wrote on her own blog. The title of said blog post is written as "First Day's Are Scary." Oops. Careful, Shenae—that erroneously placed apostrophe will get you every time. [US Weekly; OfficialShenaeGrimes]
SOHO—The discerning Guerilla Shopper has only good things to say about the Colette Malouf sale, which runs through tomorrow. "Every look from bridal to tribal is interpreted in luxe materials like fox (a hair clip in white that retails for $225, here $50), leather and silk," she reports. "True sample prices $1 to $75. Lots in the $5 and $15 categories including jeweled head straps, earrings, silk pins, leather adorned bobby pins (you'll have to see them for yourself) and hair clips." The designer is available to give hands-on styling tips to shoppers, too. Even better, a portion of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the Japan Society Earthquake Relief Fund. No complaints here! [Guerilla Shopper; Dealfeed]
