If you're going to shop Sigerson and Morrison sale in Tribeca today, bring an umbrella and plan to wait. There was a line of about fifty people on the sidewalk when the sale opened at 1pm, and early arrivals are still standing outside over an hour later. Inside the sale, size 6 and 6.5 have sold out, and there are only a few 7s and 8s left. (A staffer relayed this information to the line, but apparently her announcement didn't deter anyone.)
One tipster who's already been through the space emailed us with a thumb's down:
This sale is totally not worth it. They are letting people in one at a time and it is very small. There is limited selection and what they have I thought was overpriced. I got in at 12:45. I did not see any Belle shoes. The only Sigerson Morrison shoes in my size that were nice were reptile flats and those were $300 a pair. There were bags as well but they were all over $2000. I did not see anything at the $25 that Racked originally mentioned.Stay tuned for our own report, complete with photos, coming later this afternoon.
