Don't read this if you're already uneasy about elevators: Yesterday morning, a freight elevator in the Flatiron building shared by T.J. Maxx and Bed Bath & Beyond fell three stories when the brake malfunctioned. The occupants, all of them construction workers, were treated for neck and back pain. [NYP]
