This year's Christian Louboutin sale is stricter than ever, which is why we're not liveblogging it. Neither is Madison Avenue Spy, who writes that she's been "unofficially blacklisted" for her coverage. But if you're looking for updates on this dreary morning, you still won't have to look very far. Three lineblogs to watch:
1.) Fashion writer Jim Shi has been reporting from the line all morning via his Twitter account. Sample update: "Wow. First few people at #louboutin sample sale got here at 6am. Line already out the door and down to 9th Ave. That's love 4 the red sole." He also writes that exotic-skin heels are $400, down from $5500.
2.) NBC's The Feast blog is also Tweeting from the line, complete with pictures. Sample update: "30 mins into the Louboutin sale hours & line has moved one foot. To anyone deciding whether or not to make a pre-work attempt: Wait. #shop"
3.) Shopping blogger The Jet Shopper has been adding updates to her site all morning, although she appears to be inside the sale by now. She must have been one of the 6am arrivals, since here's her first post: "I'm in line and there are three girls in front of me. Thank goodness for this awning protecting us from the rain!!"
