SOHO—Tomorrow night at 82 Mercer Street, Vogue editor Hamish Bowles and designer Pat Field will host DIVAS Shop for Opera, an annual benefit for the New York City Opera's costume department. The event features drinks, hors d'ouevres, and seriously discounted high-fashion goods, both contemporary and vintage, from labels like Dior, Chanel, Balenciaga, and Burberry. A new Zac Posen dress is $350, for example, while a classic Yves Saint Laurent caftan is $150. Does this sound like your kind of a party? Get a ticket for 6pm—10pm for $85, or pay $375 for the VIP preview, which starts at 5pm and includes 10% off any purchase plus a gift bag. [Racked Inbox]
THE GARMENT DISTRICT—When does the Christian Louboutin sale really begin? Depends where you stand on the fashion hierarchy. One invitation we saw suggests that it starts Wednesday, while other reliable sources have it starting tomorrow, but if you're a very, very, very important person, it's already begun. Ashley Olsen apparently stopped by today. Let's hope she didn't go quite as crazy as Blake Lively did last time. [@XOAmandaBlair; Previously]
