Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Get your weekend sale fix a little early: Head over to ABC Carpet and Home today and Saturday and Sunday for their Ring of Love for Japan jewelry sale. Prices start at only $35, and all proceeds will be donated to Save the Children's Japan Earthquake Tsunami Relief.
A long list of designers have donated pieces, including Philip Crangi, Melissa Joy Manning, Aesa, Megan Thorne Fine Jewelry, Odette New York, and a whole lot more. In addition to all that, four of the designers—Satomi Kawakita, Yasuko Azuma, Toyo Kurokawa and Yayoi Forest—have also created original pendant charms ($35) for the cause, with, of course, 100% of profits going towards Japan.
