Carine Roitfeld recently sat down with Spiegel to talk about everything from why she left French Vogue to the obscene cost of coats and everyone from John Galliano to Karl Lagerfeld to Anna Wintour. She also touched on the tight skirts of Vogue, and airport security: "I wear flat-soled shoes on vacation, but I also travel in high heels, which is why I'm regularly stopped by customs officials at the airport.
