It's been a long wait, but the new agnès b. store at 50 Howard Street in Soho opened up last week. It looks more like an airy Parisian loft than a Soho shop, largely due to the fact that it's also a gallery. Measuring a spacious 3,000 square feet, the new spot is just a few blocks away from the old one, and features both women's and men's clothing, shoes and accessories, art and culture books, and a "gallery wall" that displays international artists from her gallery in Paris.
To celebrate the opening, there's also a limited-edition artist T-shirt collection up for grabs featuring images by Ryan McGinley, Jose Parla, Louise Bourgeois, Ryan McGinness, Jonas Mekas, and more, which are on sale at the shop for $85. And here's another double whammy: The new store is also real close to Opening Ceremony, where the recent agnès b./OC collaboration of knits, cardigans, and lightweight jackets awaits.
