Rare A.P.C. Overstock Sale Comes to Cobble Hill This Weekend

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

A.P.C. introduces seasonal markdowns several times a year, but it's unusual for the French label to clean out their closets with a dedicated overstock sale. This weekend, though, that's exactly what we're going to get. All day Saturday and Sunday from noon to 7pm, A.P.C. will be selling past-season inventory at up to 70% off at The Invisible Dog gallery in Cobble Hill. Go for the brand's signature simple, effortless clothing and accessories for men and women, and don't worry if you can't make it until Sunday—we're told they'll replenish the stock daily.

Last time we covered an A.P.C. sale, back in 2009, we were a little traumatized by the crowds, but we did spot lots of denim, which is what brought in those crowds in the first place. It's a safe bet that this weekend's sale will be equally mobbed. The Invisible Dog might not be the most central location, but it's right on top of the Bergen Street F train stop, making it highly accessible even for the Brooklyn-phobic.

Update: Our A.P.C. contact tells us the hours are now noon to 7pm rather than 11am to 7pm—note the change above. Also, we're sad to report that there won't be any of A.P.C.'s classic raw indigo denim on sale, although there will be past-season jeans for men and women.
