If this letter can be believed, Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi wants the Met Costume Institute to set up a retrospective of his wardrobe. Times writer Horacio Silva received the missive from someone claiming to be the aide to Moussa Khalid Wahhab, Libya's Minister for Culture and Ethnic Affairs. Supposedly, a Libyan diplomat has already been in touch with the Costume Institute's head curator Harold Koda, and "There is intense interest in our proposal for a retrospective in 2013 of Colonel Gaddafi’s four decades of superior dress sense." Head to T for the full letter, or our sister site for the highlights. [T; Racked National]
