At the Costello Tagliapietra x Uniqlo Launch: Tumbleweeds, Crickets

Costello Tagliapietra's second collection for Uniqlo launches this morning at 10am. Judging from previews, it should be just as sophisticated and wearable as the first one, but that doesn't mean it's inspired a feeding frenzy on the sidewalks of Soho. A Racked spy reports that the line outside the door consists of seven people—even fewer than the number that showed up last time. "We're witnessing the morning Uniqlo staff pep talk meeting," she writes. "They're all lined up along the main staircase like a school choir performing on risers. Hope they're ready for the onslaught of seven shoppers." Oh well—more for us!

The spring's other two Uniqlo collabs Vena Cava and Charlotte Ronson both launch May 12 in May—Vena Cava on May 12 and Charlotte Ronson on May 5. Maybe we'll see more of a crowd then.
