This week, Jon Caramanica ponders the question, "Can Agnès B. really make a comeback?" The French label, which was huge in the '90s, recently opened a Soho flagship that doubles as an art gallery, so first Caramanica reviews the art—"some worthwhile, like the Louise Bourgeois sketches, some just colors on a canvas, like Ryan McGinness's multicolor graphic design blurts." He's not much more excited about the clothes, especially because Opening Ceremony, with its much more of-the-moment Agnès B. collab, is just around the corner. [NYT]
