According to WWD, here are the nine designers who make up the list of potential successors to Galliano at Dior: Alber Elbaz, Haider Ackermann, Hedi Slimane, Nicolas Ghesquière, Olivier Theyskens, Prabal Gurung, Riccardo Tisci, Sarah Burton, and Tom Ford. Allegedly, Burton gets extra points if she lands the Kate Middleton wedding dress, since Dior chairman Bernard Arnault is "transfixed by royalty." [WWD, subscription req'd]
