Botkier Sale 2.0; Zac Posen's Vodka-Infused Brunch Menu

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

THE INTERNET—Considering the lukewarm reception to Botkier's first sample sale through Clothingline last week, we don't blame them for wanting to try again. From what we hear, it was nothing compared to the retail chaos of Botkier sales past. Well, fret not, fearless shoppers, Botkier is trying this sale thing again and will throw one online next month. Even better, the label promises a few extra benefits (along with the privilege to sleep in/shop from your cubicle/not wait in line), to include: Classic styles in never-before-seen colors, a free snakeskin keychain with purchase, and—wait for it—free shipping. Mark your Google calendars for 9am, Tuesday, May 3, and you'll have until 9am, Friday, May 6 to shop to your wallet's content. The flier for this sale promises styles like the Trigger, Bianca, Sasha and Bryant, but without any word on pricing. If it's any indication, past sales have maxed out around $275 for the larger hobos, so get that clicker finger ready. [Racked Inbox; Previously]

UPPER EAST SIDE— Over the weekend fashion bold names such as Kate Lanphear, Leigh Lezark, Marjorie Gubelmann and Zani Gugelmann joined Zac Posen for a brunch celebration at the high-society institution Le Caprice. The designer created a special brunch menu to celebrate the launch of Belvedere's new Bloody Mary flavored vodka (which sounds like a really convenient hangover beverage, by the way). But even if you weren't on the guest list (we hear it was pretty tight), you can still enjoy the Zac Posen-devised brunch menu, which the restaurant is serving through June 26.
