Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Carroll Gardens clothing-and-more shop Smith + Butler loves two things: Motorcycles and collaborations. The boutique, which maintains an old-fashioned biker vibe (think Easy Rider, not Wild Hogs), has previously teamed up with Lower East Side eyeglasses store Moscot and Nolita label Unis, and now it's hosting a pop-up shop from minimalist menswear line Save Khaki. The pop-up occupies the same 400-plus–square-foot "motorcycle gallery" in the back where the Unis merchandise used to live. Right now it's in soft-launch mode, but starting April 21, Smith + Butler will throw an opening party and put all the Save Khaki merchandise on their website.
