Everyone knows that a polo tee and a 3-iron go hand in hand, but nobody is driving this point home more than the team at Brooks Brothers. Yesterday, The Shophound paid an afternoon visit to their Madison Avenue flagship store and what they found was the first of its kind (if you believe the rumors). Brooks Brothers has added a state-of-the-art PGA Tour Simulator to their third floor. According to reports, this is the first time an apparel store has implemented this sort of technology. Lunch-time quickie, anyone?
The simulator offers a selection of courses, most notably those from St. Andrews Links, which (naturally) has a co-branding partnership with Brooks Brothers. But it gets better. During your store visit, you can work on perfecting your swing by using Callaway clubs and balls while decked out in the newly launched St. Andrews Links collection. Along with adding this new technology, the third floor has also expanded their ideas of "living the dream" and the new floor is now home to men's casual sportswear, sailing, golf, and tennis performance clothing, and—wait for it—34 colors of the store's signature polo shirts in two cuts: traditional and slim fit.—Yale Breslin
