Cobble Hill writer Jancee Dunn takes to the NYT's Complaint Box with an impassioned plea for people to spend money at local mom-and-pop stores. She explains that her screed was inspired by a conversation with a friend who said she liked old-school general store Marietta but had never shopped there. "Guess what," writes Dunn.
