Henrik Vibskov, the Danish designer known for his bold, asymmetrical, loose-fitting designs, is setting his sights on Broome Street. Refinery29 reports that Vibskob, who has 17 collections currently under his belt (he graduated from Central St. Martins in 2001), plans to open his first American flagship store outside of Europe this April. The 850-square-foot space will showcase Vibskov's avant-garde clothes for both men and women. The interiors of the store will consist of reconstructed Danish furniture, but will also house accessories and other gear from a range of designers—everyone from SNS Herning to Cosmic Wonder. Vibskov is in good company, as fellow European designer Agnes b. will be opening her new SoHo shop just a few blocks away around the same time.
