The one day sale happening today at Dannijo in Meatpacking might not look like much from the outside; 423 West 14th Street is easy to miss, and you have to be buzzed in, then climb up. But inside, business is booming. If you're planning to head over, which you should, better bring a game face—the serious shoppers who crammed into the tiny showroom aren't playing around, and the hunt through bins marked $50 and under, $100 and under, and $150 and under can get pretty competitive.
Since the brand's far from cheap, what better time than the present to stock up on accessories originally priced upwards of $300? However the real, ahem, gems are the DIY thrift-store like finds, mostly under $20: A bag of three lockets is only $5, bags of beads start as low as $8, and oxidized snake-coil necklaces are $12 each.
Highlights from the line include a seashell necklace in coral for $108, a decadent mixed-bead necklace for $195, collars made out of mica for $100, and the above "Liam" cuff for $175. Plus, there's plenty of showroom assistants on hand to talk you into buying what you may or may not need. A very small selection of the items can be seen here, but it's worth checking out for yourself. The sale ends at 7:30, so head over before the after-work crowd arrives to pillage what's left.—Tiffany Yannetta
