Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

THE GARMENT DISTRICT—Above, that's artist Gwyneth Leech sitting in the storefront windows of the Fashion Center BID's Space for Public Art. Monday through Friday 11:30am to 1pm throughout the month of March, she'll be on display decorating paper coffee cups for her Hypergraphia exhibit. Is this going to save the Garment District? Probably not, but it's still a cool photo. [Racked Inbox]

WEST VILLAGE—There's a fine line between obsessed thrift store shopper and professional vintage vendor, and Kimberly Lash plans to leap right over it this evening with her first vintage truck show. Lash, an avid secondhand buyer, has assembled a collection of affordable tops (some designer, some not, all under $60) which she's calling Blouse Amour. She's selling them tonight at the Robin Rice Gallery at 325 W. 11th Street from 6pm to 9pm. [Racked Inbox]
