Blake Mycoskie, founder of charitable shoe line Toms, teased audiences with a cryptic announcement at South by Southwest earlier this week. Taking the stage with a seven-foot-tall "mystery box," he told the crowd that Toms will be producing a new product, to be revealed on June 7 and distributed according to the same "one-for-one" philosophy that Toms currently uses to provide footwear to needy children. "Toms is no longer a shoe company," he said. "It's a one-for-one company." [Fashionologie]
