The new Michael Kors Collection flagship opened up at Madison and 67th Street on Monday, and already fits in nice and snug with the neighbors on its corner spot that was, once upon a time, home to Ungaro. The three-level shop showcases all of Kors signature accessories, ready-to-wear, and everything else—swimwear and evening gowns included—all under one roof. The new location is significantly larger than the former Madison and 76th Street store, and is stocked with opulent fixtures, a ton of white—walls, floors, and of course, clothes—as well as a selection of vintage furniture. Despite the store's grandiosity, Kors explains that "the intimate residential feel is essential for my client and will remain key to the design and feel of the store." If your frame of reference for residential is a decadent and immaculate Upper East Side townhouse, that is.—Tiffany Yannetta
