YSL Manifesto Madness Is Less Than a Week Away

It's been quite the few days over at the YSL headquarters. For starters, the rumors surrounding Stefano Pilati's departure from the house once again came up for air—and were once again put to rest (phew). And now, the label has announced the launch date of the YSL Manifesto, the limited-edition tote bag it releases to much frenzy every six months. The spring/summer 2011 bags will hit the streets Saturday March 5th, and will contain a booklet highlighting the latest ad campaign, shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin and featuring new girl in town Arizona Muse. Exact locations are still under wraps—after all, that's all the fun about YSL Manifesto day.

In the past, die-hard YSL lovers have pretty much gone batshit crazy trying to get one of the upside-down logo totes. If last year's giveaway locations are any indication (and we can't promise they are), you could potentially get lucky at The MoMA, Chelsea Market, The Highline, or Lincoln Center. We'll be giving you all the updates as they come in, but don't forget to share the love.
