Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
WEST VILLAGE—Victoria Simes's jewelry line Saltalamacchia not only has the best name—seriously, try saying it out loud—but it's also got a very chic minimalist, organic vibe. In the past, Simes has crafted pieces from feathers, horsetail, semi-precious stones, and chains. Her latest collection is sterling silver, and it's launching at a trunk show this weekend at Zero + Maria Cornejo (807 Greenwich Street at the corner of Jane). Stop by from 2pm to 6pm to shop both the new stuff and and a selection of the classics. [Racked Inbox]
MIDTOWN EAST—Supremely classy shirting shop Seize sur Vingt has teamed up with the Plaza Food Hall by Todd English for a little food-and-shopping deal. (Can we call it "dine-and-fash"?) For every shirt you buy at Seize, you get a $25 gift certificate to the food court. There's a limit of three per customer, but do you really need more than three shirts and $75 worth of snacks?
