To build mixed-use development Flushing Commons in Queens, builders are going to have to demolish the Flushing Mall. And when they do, they'll be knocking down one of the city's most fun mall food courts, where shoppers can get "everything from Taiwanese shaved ice to Chinese lamb burgers and hand-pulled noodles," as the WSJ explains it. In place of this foodie paradise, they're putting up a parking lot. [WSJ]
