Look out, Apple: Micro Center is coming for your New York customers. The chain caters to well-educated, affluent tech shoppers with perks such as a "knowledge theater" and a "knowledge bar." It has 23 locations, including one in Yonkers, and according to the Observer, it's looking for a Manhattan space. In fact, Micro Center might well be the unnamed electronics company that just checked out 420 Fifth, the building (at 38th Street) that used to be the home of CompUSA. [NYO]
