Flash bulbs are the drug of choice during New York Fashion Week, for everyone from the models to the editors to the random passers-by outside the shows. Thus, there is much dressing for the camera, hoping that a lens focuses on the flamboyance. Each day during NYFW, we'll bring you the most obvious photog bait, as snapped by us.
It's going to be pretty hard to top yesterday's Photog Bait, but no matter which you slice it, there's always going to be someone going far more overboard than the last guy. Take for instance this man, who is sacrificing sight in order to be seen. Oooh?ironic!
We wonder if they're selling these shades on St. Mark's now that the oversized, lens-less American Apparel hipster glasses are no longer making bank for street vendors. Nonetheless, it's quite obvious these have been DIY-ed thanks to a shopping trip to one of the Garment District's various trimmings stores. And that's the brilliance of living in New York; when you need shoddy, flashy eyewear at a moment's notice, you can make it happen.
