Friday night at the Tribeca Grand Hotel, the world of international blogging superstars collided in a colorful fete to toast New York Fashion Week. The event, titled "This Is Seven New York" was put together in collaboration with Seven New York, the progressive shop on Mercer Street (whose owner Joseph Quartana also helped DJ throughout the night).
So, who exactly did we spot getting their drink on at the party? In the mix of multi-colored pants, muted denim jackets, and enough cropped leather bomber jackets to make PETA start a protest, the world of the most influential bloggers, street photographers, and downtown NY faces congregated in one (crazily packed) room. Rumi Neely, Fashion Toast's leading lady, was rocking denim cut-offs with exposed pockets with a Cheetah-print-meets-S&M Susie Bubble. Priestess NYC's Cody Ross was hanging out in the booths with DJ Mike Nouveau. Chrissie Miller of Sophomore NYC fame was in the mix, as was Face Hunter Yvan Rodic.
Phil Oh of Street Peeper fame was there with camera in tow, as well as an electric-violet haired Sofia Lamar chatting it up with leather-clad Becka Diamond. And of course, Bryanboy was a sight to be seen, rocking a mint-green hat, an oversized white-fur shawl collared vest, black jeggings (we believe), and stark black platform kicks with a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am elf-colored fur trim. Whew. The only two missing? Jak and Jil's Tommy Ton and the pint-sized Tavi. Check out some Hipstamatic prints taken throughout the debauchery of the party in our gallery.—Yale Breslin
