It's day two of Fashion Week, and editors and buyers across the city are huffing Emergen-C as we speak. Jenne Lombardo must be one of the most exhausted—as director and curator of MAC & Milk, she's responsible for organizing shows from the likes of Proenza Schouler, Patrik Ervell, Joseph Altuzarra, Preen and Vena Cava inside Milk's West 15th Street base camp. Here, she tells us eleven things she needs to get her job done without losing her voice—or her mind.—Yale Breslin
.) The team at MILK Studios and KCD: I cannot do my job without this insanely talented and fun group of individuals
.) Rolling racks: I go through approximately 3 outfits per day and I line up the looks for the week so I can map out my attack when my brain fails me.
.) Laughter: When you get to a point of delirium, you can't get through the insanity of Fashion Week without this. Best medicine. Ever!
.) Pockets: I tend to not use a purse during NYFW so I rely heavily on these.
.) Black eyeliner—lots of it: It hides my exhaustion and makes me look mysterious and sexy.
.) My friends: Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler, Joseph Altuzarra, Kevork Kiledjian, and others who let me borrow clothes from them!
7. A hotel room: I have three children (who miss me dearly during this time of year) and I must get my beauty rest.
.) Kombucha and ONE Coconut Water: Must stay hydrated after a night of drinking tequila and PBRs!
.) My girl Pamela Love's jewels: They transform my mood and my look instantly.
.) Delicious food from my boys at Roberta's: I tend to not eat as much as I should during Fashion Week, but rely on them to keep me plump and purposeful.
