The 90s are coming! Just a little slower than anticipated. Guess's Fifth Avenue flagship has been in the works for a while and still appears to be that way. The initial opening date was December, then today, and now—who knows? Will GUESS still join the ranks of the nine stores slated to open this Fashion Week?

From what you can sort of see through the doors, there's still a considerable amount of mess inside. However, we did spot an illuminated cash wrap in place and a bright red lacquered wall behind it, but the lack of any racks or fixtures give us the feeling it might be a few days, at least. Will they beat Alexander Wang's Soho store? The race is on!—Tiffany Yannetta
